Golf fans were shocked when they woke up Friday morning when World #1 Scottie Scheffler was arrested for a traffic violation upon heading to Valhalla Golf Club for his second round. The news quickly made its way around the sports world that the poster child of the game of golf might be in some legal trouble.

Tee times were delayed 1 hour and 20 minutes due to a separate accident which killed a pedestrian about an hour before Scheffler arrived. He was quickly booked and released around 8:40am, which left enough time for him to make it back to the golf course for his 10:08am starting time.

Scheffler did not have as much time as normal to warm up, but still started off well, making birdies on the 10th and 12th holes around an 11th hole bogey. As of writing, he sits at -8 for the tournament, and -4 on the day.
