Former Pro Bowl tight end, Darren Waller, is calling it a career after 9 seasons in the NFL. Waller, 31, was traded to New York back in March of 2023, after spending the early parts of his career with the Ravens and the majority with the Raiders. He has struggled mightily with injuries over the past 3 seasons, appearing in just 32 of 51 possible regular season games. It is uncertain whether the injuries or just playing on the New York Giants led to Waller’s decision to retire, but rest assured, he can now fully focus on his career as a singer. Waller finishes his career with 350 receptions, 4,124 yards, and 20 touchdowns.
