Post Week 2 NFL Power Rankings

Over 10% of the NFL season is gone and we are starting to figure out where each team stands in the NFL.

  1. Cowboys (2-0)

    1. Dallas followed up their 40 point win over the Giants with a decisive 30-10 victory over the Jets. Prescott found each of the TE's for TD's and kicker Brandon Aubrey hit 6 field goals. The Cowboys have an excellent chance to make it 3-0 when they face the Cardinals in Week 3.

  2. 49ers (2-0)

    1. San Francisco hit the 30-point mark for the second time in as many weeks in the team's 30-23 win over the Rams in Week 2. QB Brock Purdy has hit the ground running along with what many consider to be the league's best defense has the 49ers in good shape early on.

  3. Eagles (2-0)

    1. Philly is 2-0, but there are some issues that have arisen in these first two games. In both games, they started off well but failed to put the game away and let the opponents hang around. At one point, they led the Vikings 27-7 to only win 34-28. The Eagles will be looking to play a complete game of football in Week 3, when they head to Tampa on MNF.

  4. Chiefs (1-1)

    1. After the Shocking week 1 loss to the Lions, the Chiefs bounced back with a 17-9 win at Jacksonville in Week 2. Both Chris Jones and Travis Kelce returned and made all the difference. The main concern is still the receivers (minus Kelce) as they have failed to haul in many decent throws from Patrick Mahomes.

  5. Dolphins (2-0)

    1. Miami improved to 2-0 with a 24-17 win at New England. For the second straight week, Tua Tagovailoa had success getting the ball to his receivers quickly. The scoreline was much closer than the game indicated, with the Dolphins controlling it almost in its entirety. Miami looks to make it 3-0 when they face the Broncos in Week 3.

  6. Ravens (2-0)

    1. The Ravens are 2-0 on the season having knocked off Houston in Week 1 and a struggling Cincinatti in Week 2. The defense has shown they are an elite unit, but how far they go will depend on Lamar Jackson and the offense, which has produced mixed results this season so far.

  7. Bills (1-1)

    1. Buffalo bounced back from the opening night loss at New York with a convincing 38-10 win over Oakland. Josh Allen played significantly better, throwing for 274 yards and 3 TD's without a turnover. James Cook also looked really solid running the ball, which the Bills haven't had success at in years. The Bills go on the road to face the Commanders in Week 3.

  8. Saints (2-0)

    1. For the second straight week, the Saints secured a narrow victory. In Week 1 they beat Tennessee 16-15 and followed that up with a 20-17 win over Carolina on MNF. Tony Jones Jr. impressed, finding the end zone twice in Alvin Kamara's absence. New Orleans heads to Lambeau Field in Week 3 to face the Packers.

  9. Jaguars (1-1)

    1. Jacksonville really struggled in Week 2 against the Chiefs' defense, failing to score a TD. Trevor Lawrence looked sharp Week 1 but poor in Week 2. Him finding consistency is the key to the Jaguars' season.

  10. Lions (1-1)

    1. The Lions failed to follow up the Week 1 win at Arrowhead with another one as the fell 37-31 at home to the Seahawks in OT. The Lions offense looked really solid again, but did turn the ball over 3 times. Detroit's key is going to be consistency on both sides of the ball if they want to do damage late in the season.
